BLURB

Eve
Pretentious. Arrogant. Condescending. Cruel.
All words I'd used to label him. Exactly what I’d always believed he was. All that changed one spring morning when I realized I didn't know the man behind the facade at all.

Angry. Desperate. Broken. Mine.
All words I'd use to define him after I interfered. Once our eyes locked, I was all in. There was no turning back. He tried to push me away, but I refused to let him go. I was determined to save him. What I didn't expect was that he would save me, too.

Cy
I was so close to ending my misery. Mere seconds away. Then she stumbled upon our argument, and I changed my plans. She wasn't supposed to be there. She knew too much. Even with my entire world burning down around me, she wouldn't walk away.

I’ve always been on my own. No one had ever fought for me before. Why should anyone start now? But she did, no matter how much I tried to stop her. I knew I was nothing, unworthy of her, but she was persistent. Once she got under my skin, I couldn't let her go, because where I end, she begins.

REVIEW

Where I End is a standalone by Michelle Dare that approaches a current topic, and in this month, September, is really important to talk about this: suicide prevention.

This book will be translated here in Brazil, but for you to learn more, I hope you like this review.

This story hinges on Cy and Eve. Cy, back in the high school moments was an asshole with Eve, a stunning girl and extremely lonely, trusted in a few people or just none.

Years passed by and the reality changes for both. Eve works for his mother, Clarissa and finds that Cy was abused since kid by his stepfather and it makes him trying to take his life many times.

A strong story, showing that just love is capable to save people’s lives. Cy could have taken your life if Eve hadn’t saved him. This book changed my look about everything around me, I started to notice people more, and how you can avoid anything worse that happens, find out more about people, learn to love them if they’ve hurt you in the past, it doesn’t matter, it doesn’t matter when lives are on the line. You just have to help.

I met Michelle’s writing and I can say she writes so well, I didn’t find no whole in the story, there’s a continuity really well built and it gave a good hook for Parkers story, he’s friend of both characters (Eve and Cy).  #Where IAm will be also translated in Brazil next year.
